Automobile manufacturers have made some baby steps toward making the factory stereo system look and sound better, but they’re still falling way short of what’s possible when it comes to getting great sounding audio and extra features from your car system. Every year, the auto industry tries to change the designs of head units (radio's) so that it makes it difficult (if not impossible) to change the radio in order to upgrade the system.
