The DNX6980’s redesign includes an easy to navigate user menu, improved display graphics on a 6.1” touch screen and larger hard buttons on its 2 DIN chassis. 2 New features Included on the DNX6980 are NAVTEQ Traffic, which provides real-time traffic data for over 90 major cities in North America and Pandora Connectivity, which allows for navigation through the Pandora menu when used in conjunction with the Pandora APP from your iPhone.

The DNX 6980 includes on-board Navigation powered by Garmin, Parrot Bluetooth and rear USB port for iPod control, which is fully compatible with all iPods and the iPhone. All control is done from the touch screen or the user can select for control from the iPod if they choose.

The touch screen display offers great features including Split Screen, color coordinated GUI and Variable Color Key Illumination which enables this deck to fit into any OEM environment.

For the consumer looking to add rear entertainment, this unit offers dual-zone AV control so multiple sources can be controlled simultaneously.

Optional accessories that can be added include Sirius Satellite Radio, HD Radio and a Rear-View Camera.
